Franschhoek, Afrikaans for “French corner”, is South Africa’s food and wine capital. Franschhoek is home to more fine dining and acclaimed restaurants than any other part of the country, and home to the country’s finest wines and wine estates. This quaint town, a mix of modern and Dutch architecture is one of the most beautiful valleys in the Cape.
