Booking Policy

Accommodation Rates

Our rates are for the exclusive rental of the property. The rate is dependent on the time of year and duration of stay. All rates are negotiable for longer stays. During peak season in Cape Town (15 December – 15 January) we accept a minimum of 10 – 14 night’s stay. Please note this is an industry standard. During peak season on the West Coast, we accept a minimum of 10 nights stay. For the remainder of the year, we accept a minimum of 2 nights stay on the West Coast, and 5 nights stay in Cape Town.

Booking deposit

In order to secure a reservation, a 50% deposit of the total rental amount is payable within 5 days (unless otherwise agreed upon) upon receipt of the invoice and the reservations agreement. If your arrival date falls within 4 – 6 weeks, the full amount is due.

Balance of payment

The balance of total rental fee is to be settled 1 month prior to arrival during season (Oct – April) and 2 weeks prior to arrival out of season (May – Sept).

Acceptance & Confirmation

A rental contract between the Guest & Cape Villa Rentals of which each page is to be initialed and signed by the guest is to be returned via fax/e-mail to Cape Villa Rentals.

Security deposit

A refundable deposit is required against breakages/damages and is refunded to the guest between 3 – 5 days after departure from the premises.

Insurance

Insurance against cancellation, illness and for loss of baggage is highly recommended for all guests traveling from abroad. It is the responsibility of the guest to obtain proper, current and valid passports (2 blank pages required for South African immigration services) & visas (US and EU citizens granted 3 month visitors visa upon entry).
